    Great value hexacopter
This hexacopter has a very nice build quality. It came well packaged and in the official box and it arrived very quickly! It was built and ready to fly straight out of the box (I topped up the battery slightly first). All I needed to add were the prop guards and the landing gear; which was a straightforward process; and off I went. The transmitter is better than most toy grade quadcopters at this price point too.

In terms of flight characteristics this is a very stable, smooth and fairly powerful flier. The yaw rate is slow so it's not the most acrobatic and nimble of fliers (although you can still do flips) and I would say it's aimed more as a camera platform than a trick specialist. In fact I believe it can comfortably handle a Mobius/Runcam and certainly a 808 keychain cam. Once you get the hang of it it's a graceful, smooth flier capable of some pretty good video.

Battery life is above average for this price point too, at about 8-10 minutes. It's also pretty durable and comes with a spare set of props.
I found setting up the transmitter a bit fiddly. Unless you have the mode sticks in place correctly the transmitter does not bind to the hexacopter.

    Awesome For The $$$
    Well... the pros are simple.

    1) It has 3 flying modes. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced. The only real difference between Intermediate and Advanced is that you can execute stunts/flips in Advanced but not Intermediate. I prefer to fly in Intermediate so that I can push the limits of the hexa without getting into the stunt stuff lol :)

    2) You can limit the pitch and yaw in any mode.

    3) Night flying is awesome because the lights are so bright.

    4) It's very light, but very responsive and fast. It handles moderate wind without a problem.

    5) Easy to fix.

    6) Cost... it's dirt cheap. 50 bucks from the US?? I bought an extra battery too lol. Just leave the screw out of the battery compartment. It locks up nicely without it and makes the battery change a lot easier!

Dollar for dollar the BEST deal I have ever gotten in a casual "let's fly because..." drone.
The only negative I have found is this... The machine is gear driven which is common in the toy level of the RC hobby. Even using the prop protectors, I took a pretty bad hit and got an issue with a grinding noise. So I broke it down and just regrooved the gears. They are plastic so they can dent on impact. I got the teeth straightened and gapped properly again and was in the air in about 30 minutes with no further issues.

First of all thanks gearbest not using the term " drone" so much. I hate it. ...this thing is awesome. Flies nice. Take a beating. Motors are toughest I've seen. I have modified mine significantly. Antenna range mod, receiver board and transmitter. Added brighter LEDs. Painted the white controller. White says "toy" to me. Looks better black. I also integrated the syma fpv 5.8g kit. Put the camera components and battery inside the body. Swapped lens with wide angle lens. Swapped battery with 900mah high output for fifteen minute flights. Installed the LCD screen in a modified VR headset with a fresnel lens. Basically a 300+ meter real time FPV 5.8ghz, 7.4v system for under $100! Yay!!! Now I see their selling cheap VR headset.. Smart. All this stuff is available on GEARBEST!

CHEAP...you won't be out a fortune if you plant it in a tree or lake (both of which I've done, and recovered eventually, the pond soaked one got a through cleaning and drying and it returned to flying perfectly)
Fairly durable... it will withstand most all crashes and hard landings with zero damage other than prop tip scrubbings
SIZE... it's NOT an indoor flyer, unless you have an auditorium or hangar, but it is responsive enough to navigate halls and rooms with ease, just mount the prop guards and you won't have any problems.
Flight time... EXCELLENT for a "toy" aircraft. spare batteries are cheap and can change out in seconds.for an extended play time,
I have yet to find anything I really do not care for about the X600

    X-600 in Black
Cost: You cannot beat the total cost involved to actively fly this hex. For under $50 you can have multiple batteries and the hex. At flight times of up to 8 minutes that's a lot of flying.
Ease of flight: With the novice setting you can fly outside with no wind.Click to INTERMEDIATE and you're good to go for nearly anything, anywhere.. Advanced is best left to the advanced. Simply moving pitch or roll to the limit initiates a flip in that direction...not needed unless you're ready for it.
Durability: It will take most any light crash or hard landing...full speed into the ground will probably break something...
None noted with any real validity...except for the limitations needed in ADVANCED mode.

    I love this it hexacopter!
This is a cool looking hex in black and it's so fun! It has decent range, speed and overall power. It performs pretty well in wind. I love the "whoosh" sound it makes when it soars by! Need I add it takes crashes well, too?!? So far, it does! Easy to change motors that plug in so don't need soldering - I've changed one so far, but have more on hand. I like that it uses the same transmitter as its sister, the MJX X400, another fun drone with good range.
Sometimes it has some wobble, but overall, it's mainly stable and just loads of fun and very pretty in the sky. It's a keeper.

    Nice Design
    Mountable Camera

Really nice and stable flyer. With the addition of mountable camera, you can also shoot aerial videos/photos. Theres also cameras that allow fpv as well so you can mess around with that and see how it works. All in all a nice good flyer for the price.
Auto Flip at high rates is kind of bummer.

Is a bigger then some might need/want. In that case they can get one of the smaller sizes from this family.

Yaw Rate is kind of slow, but then again I guess you got to expect that from something this big.

Other then the slow yaw rate and the auto flips at high rate, I dont have much negative to say about this quadcopter.

    MJX X600
    Great to learn on.
Intermediate users will still find this fun.
Beginner mode good for flying indoors(need a bit of decent space)
Intermediate mode is actually quite fast!
Massive range outdoors for something this cheap.
    Excellent flight time.
Can get 12 mins+ flight time if you take the prop guards and legs off.
Handles wind very well for something this light.
None. Maybe a bigger battery would improve this to get 15-20 mins flight time, the copter can handle the weight easily. Still, it has one of the best flight times of something this cheap.

    Very stable flyer
This X600 hexacopter from the MJX series is a very stable flyer.

And it has so much power, at Youtube you can find some reviews shown that the X600 has enough power to lift an GoPro Hero up in the sky.

Through different rates, you can change at the transmitter,, this hexacopter is ideal for Beginners and for Experts.

I ordered a second one, because the X600 is such a cool copter

    MJX X600 Hex Copter
This was my second copter. My first was a very cheap quad. The MJX X600 flys great and andles decent in the wind. The easy on/off switch on the top is very nice because you do not have to fiddle with the battery all the time. Flies great inside a nd you do not need an FAA licence to fly it. The cam takes good pistures once you learn how to fly it.. For the price, a reall god starter copter.
The motors went out after a few real good crashes but were easly repaired using Gear Best's replacment motors. The camera does weigh it down a bit and henders flying.
